Can a person in a wheelchair or with reduced mobility visit the Alhambra?

The Alhambra has an accessible itinerary that allows a person with mobility problems to visit the most emblematic places of the monument: Court of the lions, The Court of the Myrtles, the Throne Room; Palace of Charles V, Medina and the Court of the Main Canal in the Generalife. Being in a citadel built in the Middle Ages, it is inevitable to come across areas with stairs, cobblestone pavements and difficult access. For this reason, we recommend the private tour option in this case, which will allow you to go at your own rhythm without having to be subjected to the more strict schedules of a group.

Is it possible to visit the Alhambra with a baby carriage or stroller?

In most areas of the Alhambra and the Generalife, access with baby strollers is not allowed. For this reason, the best option is to replace it with a baby carrier bag. If you still bring a stroller, you can leave it during the visit at our meeting point, the Alhambra Meeting Point, located next to the Alhambra ticket office, which is the place where the tour begins and ends.

How can I book a reservation?

By entering any of our products you can make your reservation in a few simple steps and filling in some basic information. In addition you will find a description and more details about it. Once the process is completed and the reservation is paid, you will receive a voucher with all the details to your contact email.

If you do not find what you are looking for on our website, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will gladly answer all your questions. Just keep in mind that some of the discounts and promotions we offer are exclusively for online bookings; and when you book by phone these advantages cannot be applied.

How can I pay for my booking?

The easiest method is to do it by credit or debit card through our website. If you prefer to use another method, please do not hesitate to contact us. Cash payments are only possible for activities and tours booked directly at the Alhambra Meeting Point. By the way! Did you know that we are right next to the Alhambra ticket office?

Do I have to bring my visit voucher printed?

No. Both the vouchers for our visits and the tickets for the Alhambra and the Generalife can be carried in PDF format on your phone or tablet. It is better not to waste paper if it is not strictly necessary. Forests will thank us for it.

Do I have to bring the original documentation to the visit?

Yes. And this detail is very important: each visitor must bring the document used to book the tickets: ORIGINAL ID card, passport or driving licence. Photocopies and phone pictures are not accepted. These documents must be presented at the various access controls to the different areas of the Alhambra and the Generalife. Therefore, it is necessary to carry your ticket (paper or PDF) and original documentation with you at all times. If you do not have the original documentation you CANNOT ACCESS the monumental site. The regulations of the Council of the Alhambra are very strict in this regard.

If I arrive late at the meeting point, can I join the tour?

Our tours start very punctual, because the Alhambra has very strict timetables, especially the access to the Nasrid Palaces area. That is why we always encourage our visitors to arrive at our meeting point, the Alhambra Meeting Point, at least 15 minutes in advance. If you have booked a discounted ticket (students, over 65s, disability discount, minors, etc.), it is very important that you arrive in advance so that you can go to the ticket office and show your discount BEFORE the tour starts. In the case of discounts, you will have to arrive at least ONE HOUR before the tour starts in order to make the necessary arrangements before the tour begins. Sometimes unexpected events also occur. In this case, it is important that you call us at the contact phone number on the tour voucher to let us know that you will be late. In this way we will be able to do everything in our hands to incorporate you into the visit, without causing any harm to the rest of the group. We all will enjoy and get the most out of the experience.

Can I cancel or change the date of my visit?

When booking the Alhambra tickets you will see that it is not possible to cancel or modify them once the purchase has been formalized. It is therefore necessary to choose the date of the visit carefully. And in case of cancellation this amount will not be refundable (except in those cases specifically considered by the Council of the Alhambra). As for the guided tours, you can check the cancellation conditions in the information of each product.
